Sinhala Day being the highlight of the year for the Sinhala Sahithya Sangamaya was done alongside the inter house Sinhala Drama Competition under the theme of Sri Lankan folktales.
Elevated by our very own Dance Troupe, Hewisi Band, Sinhala Choir, Sinhala Orchestra, the Hewisi Band of S. Thomas’ College, the Dance Troupe of Bishop’s College and the dancers of S. Thomas’ Preparatory School, Sinhala Day portrayed the aesthetic and historic value of our ancient folk stories.
