The Buddhist Society was fortunate enough to organize the annual Bodhi Pooja for the students sitting their Ordinary Level examination in May 2022.
The Bodhi Pooja was conducted at the Meththaramaya Temple, Bambalapitiya.
The students were present at the early hour of 6:45am bringing along with them the various types of gilanpasa, milk rice, flowers and oil lamps to offer to the Chaithya, Bodhiya and the Shrine Room.
Two teachers of the society accompanied the students, guiding them in their endeavour. Our principal, Mrs Deepika Dassanaike was also present at this auspicious occasion.
