RELIGIOUS LIFE

Hindu Society

Our year started off with a very spiritual and enthusiastic first term. Our year started off with a very spiritual and enthusiastic first term. Students from grade 4 to 13 showcased their talents by narrating moral stories, singing devotional songs and playing them on instruments.

This was useful for the newly joined grade 4 students to explore their talents.

We successfully held our annual food sale on the 20th of February with the immense support of our teachers and students.

As a part of our annual social service project, we donated books and stationery items collected from our students to St Anthony's Balika Maha Vidyalaya on the 7th of March 2023.

Under the guidance of our Carnatic music teacher, our students were able to learn new devotional songs every week, which are also included in their syllabus.

Our 2nd term was filled with various activities. Each grade unitedly engaged in researching and performing untold religious stories as dramas during the prayer time.

Our students participated and performed well at the Inter School Competition organized by the Hindu Union of Royal College. We also commenced practices for our Navaratri program.

This year’s assembly was titled as “Pride in Hinduism”. It was a great learning experience as we all got to explore more about our religion and other faiths as well.

Our much awaited Navaratri event will be taking place on the 17th of October. All our students are energetically getting prepared for the event.
