Public Examinations loom large in the Upper school. As the children grow older teaching and learning in the classroom becomes focused on covering syllabuses and gearing them for examinations.
In Grade 12 the students can make their choice between Local A levels and London A levels. Though all the subjects are available for the local A levels, many of our students opt for the London A levels.
Despite this we at all times are deeply conscious that in no way should examinations thwart the wider dimensions of education.
With this in mind students have been given the opportunity to develop their creativity and thinking powers.
Seminars are conducted for the O level and A level students in order to upgrade their knowledge. We are grateful that the students manage a demanding system admirably by achieving high academic standards in the public examinations, despite excelling in many of the extra-curricular activities such as sport, debating, drama etc.
